Xpedeon is a global SaaS + ERP platform serving the Construction and Engineering industry across multiple regions. We are looking for a Business Consultant with a Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying background to lead ERP implementations for clients in the UK market. This role combines domain expertise in construction commercial functions with ERP consulting. The consultant will work closely with client stakeholders to understand business processes, translate requirements into system configurations, implement QS-related modules, and drive successful adoption post go-live.

Key Responsibilities
- ERP Implementation & Process Consulting
- Implement Xpedeon modules related to Quantity Surveying, cost control, BOQ, estimation, procurement, tenders, and contracts
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation
- Translate commercial workflows into ERP configurations aligned with client business models
- Configure workflows based on project commercial structures and approval hierarchies
- Support data migration including BOQ items, cost codes, contracts, material schedules, and budgets
- Client Interaction & Training
- Collaborate with site commercial teams, PMOs, and leadership throughout implementation
- Conduct user training sessions on QS modules, dashboards, reporting, and workflows
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change requests, and enhancements
- Guide clients on best practices for system usage and process standardization
- Project Delivery & Support
- Track deliverables, milestones, timelines, and implementation risks
- Ensure smooth go-live execution and user adoption
- Provide post-deployment support and continuous process improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients for commercial process optimization
Experience and Qualifications
- Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, contracting, or house building
- Strong expertise in BOQ, estimation, cost control, contracts, variations, and procurement
- Experience working on commercial management of construction projects
- Consulting & Technical Capability
- Strong process mapping skills across tendering, budgeting, and project commercial workflows
- Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations
- Tech-friendly with ability to learn ERP navigation, configuration, and reporting tools
- Experience interacting with cross-functional stakeholders and client teams
- Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience in ERP implementation or digital transformation projects
- Exposure to EPC, residential, or infrastructure project costing systems
- Understanding of construction project lifecycles and commercial governance
