We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer – WordPress to own the development, performance, and continuous optimisation of our corporate website. This is a hands‑on role responsible for end‑to‑end WordPress CMS management, including template development, custom modules, plugin extension, and platform stability. You will play a critical role in building high‑converting marketing pages, improving site performance and SEO hygiene, and ensuring a fast, secure, and scalable digital experience. Working closely with the Marketing team, you will help translate brand and product strategy into clean, responsive, and conversion‑ready web experiences.

Responsibilities
- CMS Ownership & Development
- Develop, maintain, and optimise the corporate website built on WordPress
- Own the WordPress CMS end‑to‑end, including structure, themes, templates, and modules
- Extend existing plugins or build custom plugins/modules to support bespoke functionality
- Create reusable components, global modules, blocks, and taxonomy for scalability
- Manage hosting environments, updates, backups, and general WordPress administration
- Support content uploads, updates, and ongoing optimisation
- Responsiveness & Performance
- Ensure flawless responsiveness across all devices and screen sizes
- Improve Core Web Vitals including page load speed, CLS, and LCP
- Optimise CSS, JavaScript, caching layers, media delivery, and performance settings
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout, rendering, and performance issues
- Conversion‑Focused Development
- Apply conversion‑oriented UX principles to page templates and landing pages
- Build and support A/B testing variants for CRO initiatives
- Implement tracking scripts, pixels, and analytics integrations
- Collaborate with Marketing to continuously improve lead‑generation outcomes
- Security & Reliability
- Maintain strong security hygiene including plugin management, role‑based access, MFA, and vulnerability patching
- Manage release processes, environment changes, and rollback strategies
- Ensure platform stability and uptime
- Technical SEO Support
- Implement and refine schema markup and structured data
- Ensure SEO‑friendly code and adherence to technical SEO best practices
- Support site architecture improvements and internal linking strategies
- Digital Platform Integrations
- Integrate WordPress with HubSpot, analytics platforms, automation tools, and tracking systems
- Implement and maintain API or plugin‑based integrations with CRM, marketing, and event platforms
- Ensure reliable execution of pixels, scripts, and tracking across environments
- Support clean data capture, lead routing, and workflow triggers
Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong hands‑on expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proven experience building or extending WordPress plugins
- Demonstrated ability to deliver responsive, mobile‑first implementations
- Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and performance optimisation
- Working knowledge of technical SEO and schema implementation
- Experience integrating analytics, tracking, and marketing automation tools
- Ability to collaborate closely with Marketing and deliver conversion‑ready UX
Nice to Have
- Experience working in B2B SaaS or product‑led companies
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms

Education
