Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual with a positive “bedside manner” to support our UK operations.
This personwillbe responsible forleading IToperations forour Londonoffice, as part of a global IT team.
The scope of responsibilitieswill include desksideand remote (voice, video, remote assist)support, systemsadministration, and telephony/conferencing support.
You will be based in London, but there will be occasional(reimbursed)travel toourother sites.
Typical workloadincludeson/offboarding users, installing/upgrading/troubleshootingapplications on workstations, coordinating support with third-party software vendors, voice & videosupport and regular (usage, licensing, access) audits.
There will be high-pressure moments supporting trading operationssprinkled inbetween proactive work tomaintainand improve information security (you will work closely with our Info Sec team as well).
The person in this position will alsoassistwith project work which can includeprovision and deployment of physical and virtual workstations, creation and management of systems configurations and policies and consolidations/migrations of Office and other applications.
- Core Requirements & Technical Skills
- 5+ years of IT Support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and support acumen: able to support colleagues whether they are next to you or thousands of miles away
- Working knowledge ofauthentication, SSO, MFA and Conditional Access policies
- Demonstratedexpereriencemanaging TCP/IP networks, Active Directory, Entra and Intune
- Installation, configuration, troubleshootingof PCs, laptops, andtelephony equipment (desk and trading phones), videoconferencing hardware
- Provide ad-hoc services such as networking of meetingrooms, backup/contingencysitesand setting up rooms for projectsorother special business needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge andproficiencywith diagnosing and troubleshooting issues on both Windows and Mac OS
- Microsoft Office 365 management portal including Exchange, Defender, Share Point, and Teams
- Maintain a thorough understanding of ITand service offeringstoidentifyhow best to address end user technology needs and incidents.
- Resolve incidents associated with firm-standard end user software and hardware, including mobile/hand-held technologies(Android /i OS).
- Understand the Firm's business andorganisationsufficiently toanticipateand resolve end user technology issues that affect productivity of Firm personnel.
- Knowledge and experience with Azure, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, Crowd Strike, Cloud 9are highly desirable.
- Comfort, willingness and experience incorporating AI (copilot, Claude, Cursor) into daily work
In addition to the above, an entrepreneurial mindset is key as you will be required to pitch in with anything else that might be outside of the scope of the aforementioned items.

Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training.
