An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Sales Manager to join a leading international events organisation within the energy sector. Working on one of the company's flagship global events, you will be responsible for the retention, growth and management of exhibitor accounts across a high-profile international portfolio. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of key accounts, build long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities across the exhibition and conference market. You will work closely with internal content and marketing teams to deliver tailored partnership opportunities and maximise commercial revenue.

Responsibilities will include managing five and six figure client accounts, generating new business, developing exhibition proposals, attending events and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction before, during and after each event.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within B2B conference and exhibition sales
  • Proven experience selling large exhibition opportunities
  • Strong new business generation and account management experience
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, agents and industry partners
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Experience within the energy sector would be advantageous but is not essential
