Drive the marketing strategy, brand growth and online visibility of XP Tavern. This role is focused on digital marketing, growth strategy, and hands‑on campaign execution, with direct personal involvement in content creation and campaign shoots, alongside coordination of our outsourced teams (designers, videographers, and ad specialists). A key focus of this role is expanding brand awareness and attracting new customers through strategic marketing initiatives, brand collaborations, partnerships, and promotional campaigns. The Marketing Manager will actively develop and test acquisition‑focused strategies that increase reach, visibility, and first‑time visits, while strengthening XP Tavern’s positioning within London’s entertainment and nightlife scene. You will manage our brand presence across all channels, plan and execute digital campaigns, grow bookings and footfall, and ensure the XP Tavern brand remains fresh, competitive and trend‑driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute weekly and monthly marketing campaigns
- Analyse performance data and optimise campaigns for conversions and footfall
- Create strategies for event promotion, themed nights, tournaments and private bookings
- Maintain and develop the overall marketing calendar
- Social Media Management:
- Oversee Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
- Approve content plans, captions and posting schedules
- Monitor trends and adjust content direction accordingly
- Track engagement, growth, and content performance metrics
- Communicate with designers, editors and PPC specialists
- Approve visuals, videos, branding assets and marketing materials
- Ensure deadlines are met and output meets brand standards
- Provide clear briefs, feedback and performance expectations
- Evaluate team performance and propose improvements
- Build hype around events, nightlife and gaming experiences
- Monitor guest sentiment and feedback via reviews and social comments
- Increase guest loyalty and community engagement through consistent messaging
- Support the Events Manager with online promotion of key nights
- Develop the voice, identity and long-term personality of the XP Tavern brand
- Work on collaborations, influencer marketing and micro‑creator partnerships
- Contribute ideas for viral campaigns and unique digital experiences
- Ensure brand consistency across all touch points
- Own the strategy for increasing daily bookings and overall footfall to XP Tavern
- Develop and execute initiatives that consistently attract new guests to the venue
- Create and test weekday‑specific offers to drive traffic during quieter periods (e.g. after‑work gaming bundles, date‑night packages, off‑peak pricing)
- Proactively identify and develop external partnerships and channels that generate first‑time visits
- Design campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and awareness in the local area and beyond
- Track performance of acquisition initiatives and continuously optimise based on results
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing (hospitality, nightlife, entertainment or F&B preferred)
- Proven experience running digital marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of short‑form content and social trends
- Ability to brief and manage creative teams effectively
- Fluent English (Additional Languages are a plus)
- Solid grasp of analytics, conversions and performance metrics
- Experience working with agencies, creators or outsourced teams
- Organised, strategic, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working occasional evenings during major events or campaign launches
