Role Purpose
The Commercial Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue, bookings and customer growth at XP Tavern. This role is not about brand for brandβs sake β it is about bringing people into the venue, increasing spend, and converting first-time guests into repeat and corporate customers. You will own the commercial marketing strategy end-to-end: from customer acquisition and lead generation, to offers, funnels, partnerships and performance campaigns β all directly linked to bookings, revenue and business growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Revenue & Customer Growth (Primary Focus)
- Own and be accountable for daily bookings, footfall and revenue growth.
- Build and manage customer acquisition funnels (first visit β repeat visit β private hire).
- Design, test and optimise offers, pricing bundles and upsell mechanics to increase conversion and average spend.
- Work closely with Operations and Events teams to ensure marketing directly supports revenue targets.
- Track and report on performance: bookings, revenue, conversion rate, CAC and ROI.
- Lead Generation & Corporate Sales Support
- Generate and qualify leads for private hire, corporate events and group bookings.
- Develop partnerships and outbound strategies to attract corporate clients, teams and event organisers.
- Support the sales process with campaigns, offers and follow-ups that convert interest into paid bookings.
- Growth Campaigns & Funnel Optimisation
- Create and test end-to-end growth campaigns (ad β landing β booking β in-venue experience).
- Own the full funnel: awareness β click β booking β attendance β repeat visit.
- Continuously optimise messaging, offers and targeting to improve conversion and retention.
- Paid Media & Performance Team Management
- Lead and manage the paid media team (Meta, TikTok and Google specialists).
- Set targets, approve strategies and budgets, and review performance.
- Ensure paid campaigns are optimised for bookings and revenue, not vanity metrics.
- Pricing, Offers & Promotions
- Develop and test dynamic pricing, promotions and bundles to drive demand.
- Create weekday and off-peak offers that directly increase footfall.
- Own campaign profitability and ensure promotions generate net revenue, not losses.
- Partnerships & Commercial Collaborations
- Build partnerships that drive real customers and revenue, not just exposure.
- Create joint promotions, events or packages with brands and companies.
- Track partner performance and ROI.
Requirements
- 3+ years in commercial, growth, or performance marketing, ideally within hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, F&B or experience-led venues.
- Proven experience driving revenue, leads or bookings.
- Strong understanding of funnels, conversion and offers.
- Experience working with paid media teams or agencies.
- Commercial mindset with data-driven decision making.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality / entertainment environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Performance Bonus Structure (monthly & milestone-based):
- Customer Acquisition Bonus
