XP Surveys specialises in Measured Building Surveys and Topographical Surveys, while also providing a range of property-related surveying services including drone roof surveys, underground utility mapping, and CCTV drainage surveys using the latest laser scanning technology. We are looking for a motivated Junior Surveyor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with AutoCAD experience who is eager to develop a career in surveying and gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of residential and commercial properties across the UK.

This is a varied role that combines both site-based surveying and office-based CAD work. Full training will be provided in surveying equipment, laser scanning, point cloud processing, and survey methodologies. However, applicants should have previous experience using AutoCAD and be comfortable producing technical drawings.

Main Duties
- Assisting the Lead Surveyor with measured building surveys, topographical surveys, and other site-based survey work
- Undertaking site surveys using equipment such as Leica Total Stations, Trimble X7 laser scanners, and GNSS systems
- Processing and managing survey data (full training provided)
- Producing accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and topographical information
- Learning to generate drawings from 3D laser scan point cloud data
- Supporting the delivery of survey drawings to company quality standards and project deadlines
- Maintaining databases, survey records, and filing systems
- Liaising with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
- Attending weekly team meetings and contributing to company growth and development initiatives
