We are urgently seeking 5 LGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to work on clean Bay - Bay trunks utilising fridge units, with nights out as required. This highly reputable client uses drivers on an all year round basis driving modern LGV Class 1 units with a variety of shift patterns to suit including Wed-Sun, Thu-Mon & Fri-Tue.
As a professional LGV Class 1 Tramper Driver you must possess all the necessary skills and qualifications to join our team.
Duties:- Operate fridge units to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Ensure all cargo is securely loaded and properly balanced before transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout the course of duty.
- LGV Class 1 Licence - max 6 points for insurance purposes.
- Previous experience of tramping is a help but not essential.
- Excellent driving skills and a 'can do' attitude to the role.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
