The Transport Administrator role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You will support the maintenance of the daily transport activities to ensure the company meets its targets and objectives, and that tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. Working closely across departments is key to your success. The quality and service provided by the team is paramount to meeting our internal and external stakeholder expectations, company KPI’s, and the ability to track progress, conduct reviews and plan for the future.
Responsibilities:
- Driver De-briefing
- System Updates including data input into TMS & WMS
- Compliance & Process including tacho downloads
- Communication including liaising with planners, customer service & warehouse teams
- Reporting, including daily de-brief reports and highlighting trends (failed deliveries, vehicle defects, or non-conformances)
Experience:
- Ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
- Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate with good numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Transport legal compliance understanding
