We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team at our site that is a purpose built 101 bed hospital in the Southwest for men and women with a mental health illness. On the same site there is a separate 13 bed service for people who have a learning disability, who may present with mental illness, Personality Disorder (PD) or who are autistic.

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience and shift type)

Shifts: Flexible day and night shifts available

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a mental health or healthcare setting
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy and dedication to patient care and recovery
  • PMVA Certificate required - you CANNOT support here without this training
  • Indate and Clean DBS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity
  • Assist healthcare professionals in implementing care plans and therapeutic activities
  • Encourage patient independence and engagement in rehabilitation tasks
