LGV Class 2 Drivers to work with our ongoing team based in Bicester. As an LGV Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for the delivery of fresh food products to clients based throughout The Midlands & South East England. You must have excellent driving ability as well as great customer skills as you will be delivering to high-end customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate LGV Class 2 in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Deliver fresh food products to designated locations, maintaining delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of LGV Class 2 to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Often working with a driver's mate, you will need to work together to ensure an efficient delivery schedule is maintained.
- Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers regarding delivery status.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid LGV Class 2 licence.
- Strong knowledge of delivery routes and logistics operations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- You will need to have held your Class 2 licence for a minimum of at least 3 months.
