Location: Atherton

Position: Support Worker (Days and Nights)

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team that offers care and support for men aged 18 years and over with mental health problems. They are supported to gradually work along their care pathway and back to the community. The hospital is made up of medium and low secure services, a separate rehabilitation service and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience and shift type)

Shifts: Flexible day and night shifts available

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a mental health or healthcare setting
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy and dedication to patient care and recovery
  • PMVA Certificate required - you CANNOT support here without this training
  • Indate and Clean DBS

  • Support patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity
