The function of Sales Support is to provide direct support to the Sales Managers in the ongoing development of existing and prospective XP customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets.
Key Responsibilities- Handling incoming calls and other communications
- Answering customer inquiries and following up with customers about their order status
- Dealing with incoming sales enquiries positively and speedily and ensure they are taken as far as possible, maximizing the proportion of order received
- Creating and processing orders in a timely manner and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction
- Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses and other problems
- Be the point of contact and assist Key account managers/ Area Sales Managers within the division
- Become competent in all working practices of the company and assist in the smooth running of customer support
- Maintain projects in line with company rules and provide accurate forecasts with the information available
- Proactively follow-up and close repeat orders for production projects and for other projects as directed
- General administration support for the sales area
- Undertake general office duties as required/dictated
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Must be adaptable, professional, courteous and must work well as a member of a team
- Knowledge of SalesForce and CRM would be advantageous but not essential
