As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect XP Power’s global infrastructure—including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data, proactively responding to the evolving threat landscape. You will work closely with internal teams and external audit partners to maintain and continuously improve our security posture.
Job Description
- Monitor company infrastructure, systems, networks, and cloud platforms for security events and vulnerabilities and triage security incidents and alerts.
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud (primarily Azure) and on-premises environments.
- Lead and participate in Incident Response and Disaster Recovery programs, including regular testing and validation.
- Align business processes and systems implementations with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on information technology trends, cloud security standards, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with documented policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIS2).
- Collaborate with regional IT teams and business units on cyber-security incidents and initiatives.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset to elevate XP Power’s cyber-security posture.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of desktop & server operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
- Experience with SIEM, endpoint protection, identity management, and cloud security tools.
- Cloud security and compliance (CISSP, CEH, CISM, CCSP, etc. are an advantage).
- Experience working with external audit partners and supporting audit processes.
