DJ Booking Agent / Artist Manager

Role: Artist Manager (Commission-Based)

Location: Remote / London-based preferred

Commitment: Part-time to start, with room to grow

Compensation: Commission-based: 20% of all revenue generated through your efforts

Who I Am

I perform and release under the name Xero, I am an open-format DJ and music producer based in London. I play Reggaeton, Rap, R&B, Afrobeats, and Dancehall. I've been in the music industry since I was 16, toured various times across the world independently. Including venues and festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event (2022), Ministry of Sound (2023 & 2024), Corsica Studios (2023), San Fermines Festival (2024) and recently I played at Ku Club Barcelona (previously Pacha Club). I have also ran a recording studio called Uncensored Studios in which we hosted major UK artists (Kairo Keys, Jeleel, Ivorian Doll, Fournine, 163Margs, Backroad Gee, Kush (OFB), Mlizzy and the list continues). I also have just begun releasing music under my name “Xero” to compliment my DJ brand, currently I have 3 songs released over the past 3 months that I have produced with other artists and I have plenty more coming this summer.

I’ve also been producing and selling beats professionally for the past few years and have placed songs with the likes of Malik Montana, Kazior & Taxfree which went Number 6 in the charts in Poland in the first day on Top 50 poland. I have also produced for Ivorian Doll, Tiitof, Shippeur & more.

Right now I'm at a difficult point, I've got the talent, the catalogue and the network. What I'm missing is someone to turn that into consistent bookings and deals. I was recently signed to a London booking agency in which I started 8 months ago and built my way up rapidly to the top, with 3-5 bookings per week and not one venue had rated me less than 5 stars out of 5. However, I recently went independent as I felt that I had outgrown the agency rapidly as they only does select venues in London and I want to expand inter/nationally like I used to do but am finding it hard to balance 3-5 gigs, 2-4 studio sessions, practicing and family with outreach. I have built a pretty solid gig pipeline already But need someone to help me take it to the next level.

I have plenty more confidential projects underway that we can speak about if you seem to be the right fit for me.

I also work essentially as a duo with my business partner “MłodyAV” who is a phenomenal producer who has placed songs with the likes of D Block Europe & countless other A listers across the world, so this management with me could most probably lead into management of both of us if the trial phase with me goes well.

What I Need You to Do

Gig Booking (Priority #1)

  • Research and pitch venues, promoters, and event organisers, starting with London, Warsaw and Paris
  • Negotiate fees and handle booking logistics
  • Build relationships with promoters in the UK and European circuit (Preferably I’d like a manager who has more contacts than me)
  • Target: 2–4 paid gigs/month by month 2

Beat Sales & Licensing

  • Outreach to artists, labels, sync agencies, and music supervisors on my behalf
  • Help move beats at £500+/track or bundle deals
  • Explore sync/licensing opportunities for my catalogue

Brand & Social Media Direction

  • Work with me to shape how I'm positioned online (TikTok, Instagram)
  • Help plan content that attracts clients, fans, and industry contacts
  • Not looking for a social media manager right now as thats someone we can hire in later and delegate the tasks to but Im looking for someone who thinks strategically about my public image

Industry Networking

  • Represent me in conversations I don't have time for, not in an egotistical way, linking back to what I was saying, I’m inundated with my artistry right now and am finding it hard to do outreach as well these days
  • Build relationships with labels, agencies, and other managers
  • Identify opportunities I'm not currently seeing

What I'm Looking For

  • Experience in music industry bookings or artist development: even if you've only managed one or two acts, show me results
  • Strong communication skills: you'll be speaking on my behalf
  • Hungry and entrepreneurial: commission-only means you eat what you kill, so I need someone motivated, I earn the same way so it’s only fair you do too. And I can guarantee if we’re locked in, we will explore plenty more business ventures than simply myself, but we will speak more on call.
  • Knowledge of the UK (and ideally French/European) music scene
  • Organised: can track pipelines, follow up without being chased

What You're NOT

  • A social media manager
  • A music publicist (we're not at that stage yet)
  • Someone who needs hand-holding on what to do next

The Deal

This is a commission based role, 20% of all revenue I generate . That includes gig fees, beat sales you close, and any brand deals or sync placements you bring in. Remember, you’re not babying or developing a “new” artist, I am knee deep in the industry right now, so you don’t have to worry about investing 5 years of your time before you start earning. Let’s start getting paid next week!!!!!

What stands out to me

Send me a message on LinkedIn with:

  • One or two acts you've worked with or managed (even informally)
  • A specific example of a deal or booking you closed
  • Why you want to work with an independent artist at this stage

DMs only. No agencies

4. Even take the extra mile and call me at , I’m usually free for a 15 minute chat any time before 5pm.
