About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Engineering Advisor / Manufacturing / DFM Engineer to support product development and production processes. In this role, you will act as a key link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring that designs are optimized for manufacturing and successfully launched into production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis
- Analyze 2D drawings and 3D models to ensure compliance with technical requirements
- Coordinate product development and production launch processes
- Act as a liaison between customers and supplier companies
- Implement engineering changes in production systems (change management)
- Conduct and report production risk analyses, including action plans
- Ensure timely completion of key production stages
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD software
- Ability to identify DFM issues from CAD models and technical drawings
- Understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and/or 3D printing (preferred)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing)
