Xolvio is hiring an Account Director to lead sales and grow client relationships across our software consulting portfolio. This role combines communication, strategic thinking, and delivery awareness to ensure every client engagement runs smoothly and successfully. Candidates must be based in the UK and willing to work consistently up to 2 PM US east coast time with work hours occasionally (on average once per week) extending even later.
Responsibilities
- New Client Sales: Bring on new clients for Xolvio’s consulting business.
- Current Client Expansion: Increase year-over-year revenue from existing clients.
- Packaging and Pricing: Combine Xolvio’s services and set rate cards to maximize medium to long term profitability.
- Sales Communication: Build and evolve Xolvio’s sales positioning on the website, LinkedIn, within sales collateral (e.g. cred/pitch decks), and elsewhere.
- Negotiation: Work out and agree to favorable commercial terms on a project by project basis.
Required
- Proven success building and expanding agency-style commercial relationships with multiple clients spending 3+ million USD per year.
- Detailed knowledge of the common terms/structures of consultancy sales and delivery agreements.
- A working understanding of software delivery processes and terminology.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Valuable, but not required
- A background in software development as a coder or architect.
- Experience selling consultancy services in partnership with software vendors.
- Experience specifically with GraphQL, Typescript, AWS, KurrentDB, event sourcing, and/or high levels of software quality and delivery automation.
- Fluency in other European languages.
