Supplier Relationship Lead

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supplier Relationship Lead to support our global business in supplier management, procurement, and subcontracting activities. This role is central to ensuring effective supplier engagement, robust governance, and efficient purchasing processes across multiple regions and divisions.

Working closely with project teams and key stakeholders, you will help drive supplier performance, support strategic sourcing activities, and contribute to the continual improvement of procurement and supplier management processes.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the business engages the most appropriate partners for projects and operational needs.

Manage supplier onboarding and prequalification processes, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and performance requirements.

Review purchase requests, coordinate approval workflows, issue purchase orders, and maintain approved supplier information within company systems.

Support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to establish suitable commercial terms and conditions, ensuring contractual and statutory requirements are addressed.

Identify opportunities to improve procurement and supplier management processes while supporting tenders, proposals, subcontract performance reviews, audits, and training activities.

Key Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in supplier relationship management and procurement.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within the upstream oil & gas and/or offshore renewables sector
  • Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of contract law and subcontract management
