Purpose of the Role
Provide engineering support to our engineering projects within the EMEA region covering Oil & Gas, CCUS, Hydrogen sectors. Support our ongoing proposals and to support delivery of our front-end studies.
Requirements
- Experience of both onshore & offshore piping and plant design.
- Experience of supporting studies from conceptual engineering up to and beyond FEED.
- Familiar with software tools in design development and checking (PDMS, Navisworks, E3D).
- Experience of working in multi-discipline project teams and understanding of discipline interfaces.
- First class communication, report writing & presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to summarise key parameters and drivers succinctly.
- Have an interest to actively develop external and internal relationships and enhance your career development.
Qualifications, Skills & Behaviours
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status.
- Piping & plant layout design experience in energy industry including brownfield modifications.
- Experience of preparation piping discipline design deliverables such as isometrics, specifications, datasheets, MTOs for a wide variety of energy studies.
- Experience in completing offshore / onshore site surveys.
- Understanding of onsite construction activities would be beneficial.
- Knowledge in selecting materials used in process piping systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry standards such as ASME B31.3 or equivalent.
