Are you a fintech-savvy storyteller who can turn complex payment infrastructure into clear, engaging, business-ready content? We're looking for experienced freelance copywriters to support a global real-time payments platform, helping translate sophisticated financial products, use cases, and regulations into compelling narratives for merchants, fintech partners, issuers, and financial institutions.
This is an ad hoc freelance engagement — ideal for senior writers who enjoy working on high-impact content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering polished copy in highly regulated environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning end-to-end content creation, from ideation to publication
- Writing weekly blog posts (600–1,000 words), long-form white papers, product one-pagers, and customer decks
- Crafting scroll-stopping copy for LinkedIn campaigns, social posts, infographics, and short videos
- Translating technical and regulatory concepts (APIs, real-time payments, FX, compliance) into clear, benefit-led messaging
- Interviewing internal subject-matter experts (product, engineering, risk, compliance) and external partners
- Navigating legal, brand, compliance, and privacy reviews with precision
- Publishing and maintaining SEO-optimised content on corporate web platforms
- Collaborating with product marketing and communications on editorial planning
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4+ years of experience in copywriting or content marketing within FinTech, payments, banking, or SaaS
- A strong portfolio showcasing both long-form and short-form B2B content
- Proven ability to simplify complex, regulated products without losing accuracy or impact
- Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and tight approval cycles
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, content analytics, and CMS tools
- Strong interviewing, storytelling, and editing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or related field
- Experience collaborating with global teams and adapting content for regional markets
- Knowledge of real-time payments, P2P/merchant disbursements, treasury, or card scheme operations
- Familiarity with Figma, Tableau, or basic HTML
