As a Food Safety & Brand Standards Auditor, you will conduct on-site operational assessments, helping clients maintain high food safety standards, protect brand reputation, and continuously improve the guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled on-site food safety, health & hygiene, and brand standards assessments.
- Evaluate operational compliance using established audit protocols.
- Identify risks and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Provide practical recommendations on food safety and hygiene best practices.
- Support clients in maintaining operational and brand standards.
- Build trusted relationships with restaurant and hospitality teams.
- Complete digital audit reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain professional documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Travel across your assigned territory.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Level 4 Food Safety qualification or equivalent recognised by BRC or SALSA.
- Experience in food safety auditing within: Restaurants, Hospitality, Hotel Food & Beverage, Retail, Convenience Stores.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and sound judgement.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Multi-site hospitality or restaurant operations.
- Operational audit experience.
- Hotel Food & Beverage leadership.
- Brand Standards auditing.
- Quality Assurance (QA).
- Experience working with international hospitality brands.
Additional Requirements
- Based in or near Guildford.
- Able to travel across Basingstoke, Cranleigh & Tadley.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Personal smartphone compatible with the audit application: Apple iOS 18+ or Android 14+.
- Flexible availability for weekday, evening and weekend assignments.
- Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor.
