Job Description & Requirements (including Key Responsibilities)
We are seeking a results-oriented Global Recruitment Director to lead our international delivery team in providing recruitment services across the globe. You’ll manage a distributed team of 9, optimize processes and systems, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction across a range of recruitment projects.
This role is ideal for an experienced agency-side professional experienced in running global teams to deliver small, large & sometimes complex projects and drive performance through technology, strong reporting, and high quality delivery standards.
While not necessarily acting as a recruiter, this role will ensure the team can cast a wide net to attract a pool of high-calibre candidates, advise on talent selection, and support clients in identifying and securing the best-fit candidates for critical roles.
The role will also take ownership of escalations ensuring client satisfaction whilst not compromising on the commercial needs of XML
Deliverables:
- Team and Delivery Management:
- Lead a global team of recruiters, coordinators, and sourcing specialists to deliver talent solutions across multiple time zones and client needs.
- Maintain accountability for service levels, time-to-fill, CV-submission rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Motivate and support team members through performance coaching, skills development, and daily operational leadership.
- ATS Systems Oversight & Optimisation:
- Own the ongoing evaluation, implementation, and optimisation of ATS platforms and workflows.
- Work with internal and external tech teams and leadership to align systems with operational goals and scalability.
- Train team members on new tools, enhancements, or changes in process.
- Performance Reporting & Insights:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track recruitment KPIs, including fill rates, pipeline health, recruiter productivity, and client SLA performance.
- Analyse data to identify bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Present reporting outputs to leadership, internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring transparency and proactive course-correction where needed.
- Support client in candidate engagement and communications to secure their commitment.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
- Serve as the bridge between the delivery team and global clients, ensuring seamless project execution and strong communication.
- Support new client onboarding and complex assignments, including complex workforce engagements.
- Represent XML\’s delivery capability in client reviews and strategic planning sessions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years in recruitment delivery (agency or RPO settings strongly preferred)
- Minimum 2 years leading recruitment or delivery teams in international or cross-border contexts
- Demonstrable experience managing or improving ATS platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever)
- Strong Excel and/or Power BI skills with a proven ability to turn recruitment data into actionable business insights
- Experience delivering recruitment services in multiple countries or regions
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
- Comfortable working across cultures, languages, and time zones
- Data-driven mindset
- Exposure to international compliance, onboarding, or contractor management would be advantageous
