About the Role
This role sits at the heart of the business, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on employment law, labour relations, immigration, compensation and benefits, and other HR-related matters across different jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement global HR policies, procedures, and best practices that comply with local laws and regulations and align with the company's values and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate the legal aspects of cross-border HR projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, outsourcing, and international assignments.
- Lead and supervise the legal team, and collaborate with other legal functions such as corporate, compliance, and litigation.
- Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with internal and external parties.
- Monitor and anticipate changes in the legal environment that may affect the company's operations and advise on the appropriate actions to take.
- Represent and defend the company in HR-related disputes, investigations, and litigation.
- Adhere to the organization’s information security policies and procedures, including protecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
Qualifications
- Legal degree or equivalent.
- More than ten years of qualifying employment.

- Understanding and experience working in the staffing or contingent workforce sector
- Strong knowledge of internal and external business practices and operations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and practices.
- Solid grounding in employment and contract law.
- Experience with data protection legislation.
- In-house experience across a range of commercial agreements.
- Well-versed in legal terminology and operations.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
