Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Team Leader. We are looking for a candidate that has strong mentoring/developing experience and is driven to enhance sales activity and get the best out of their team.
Job Specification:
You will have many day-to-day responsibilities including mentoring, driving growth and getting involved within the team. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a team of Inside Sales Representatives, monitoring performance against KPI’s set and conducting regular 1-2-1’s.
- Be responsible for customer engagement and be the forefront of the team with any queries that may arise.
- Assessing the team’s skill set and using their skills to their advantage by providing mentoring support and ensuring appropriate training is scheduled for individual team members.
- Be responsible for the team’s daily activity relating to sales and providing all CRM updates, opportunity management, vendor training and engagement.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a target-driven sales environment and someone who has experience in getting the best out of their team. You will understand internal sales team functions and how to manage and coach your team to boost sales activity. You will have experience of managing a team's KPI’s and be able to identify when more training is needed and be a support network to your team. Understanding of the sales process and management of activities on KPI’s is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort in using a broad range of communication styles are required. Some knowledge of IT hardware and services would be an advantage, but we are essentially looking for someone with direct sales experience in any sector whether that IT, mobile phones, broadband or within a B2B environment.
