Shepton Vets is looking for a new graduate small animal vet to join our friendly, supportive team. You’ll work a 4-day week, with a supported 1:6–1:8 on-call rota, across our two well-equipped, modern branches. Facilities include in-house endoscopy, laparoscopy and dental radiography. Our sensibly managed diary allows 15–30 minute consultations, regular breaks, and weekly operating days, giving you the opportunity to develop your surgical skills and get involved with interesting cases.
Support & Development
You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues, including certificate holders in surgery, medicine, cardiology and imaging, as well as vets with extensive exotics experience, and a dedicated, highly skilled nursing team. We host weekly team lunches and regular discussion groups, and you’ll be encouraged to undertake the XL Vets New Graduate Scheme alongside other CPD opportunities.
Community & Team Life
As a community-focused practice, you’ll have opportunities to get involved in student vet teaching, local school talks, and community events. We also value our social side – from escape rooms and summer rounders to days at the races.
