We’re hiring two experienced Atlassian Service Management specialists to help our customers deliver AI-led ITSM enablement at scale.

We’re looking for AI-led Atlassian Service Management SMEs who thrive on solving real problems, working closely with customers, and delivering solutions that genuinely improve people’s daily working lives.

What Delivery Looks Like at XLR8

Our consultants own the full solution lifecycle — hands-on, end-to-end: Discovery → Design → Build → Test → Enablement → Support. If you’ve managed this process but haven’t personally delivered across it, this role isn’t the right fit.

Must-Have Experience

  • You use AI every day — not as a novice, but to deliver higher quality work faster. Show us how.
  • 5+ years designing and building Atlassian Cloud Jira Service Management solutions.
  • 5+ years designing and building Atlassian Cloud Confluence solutions.
  • 2+ years designing and building Atlassian Cloud Assets solutions.
  • 2+ years designing and building Atlassian Cloud Rovo solutions.
  • 5+ years managing delivery in a hands-on technical capacity — you’ve carried projects end-to-end, not just coordinated them.
  • 5+ years in delivery and/or service support teams.
  • End-to-end solution lifecycle experience — hands-on, from requirements and design through to build and enablement — with a human-centred approach.
  • Relevant certifications — ACP (Atlassian Certified Professional), ITIL, or equivalent. These support your application but don’t replace demonstrable delivery experience.
  • Proven integration experience — you've connected Atlassian to real enterprise systems (Microsoft, SAP, ServiceNow, or similar) and owned the outcome.

Role Details

  • Individual contributor role — strong people and delivery skills required.
  • Hybrid – you’ll need to travel to client sites across the UK as required. Hybrid refers to location only; client site and office presence required as needed.
  • Self-directed and self-managed when working remotely.
  • Open and collaborative ways of working, always.
  • Full-time, client-facing role — this role is built around client availability and team collaboration. Reduced hours or flexible working arrangements aren’t available for this position.

How to prepare for a job interview at XLR8

Brush Up on Your Technical Skills

For an IT consulting role, be ready to demonstrate your technical prowess. You might face questions on systems integration, cloud technologies, or even troubleshooting specific software. If you have experience with tools like AWS, Azure, or even specific programming languages, make sure you can talk about them fluently.

Showcase Your Problem-Solving Approach

IT consulting is all about solving problems for clients. Think about how you can illustrate your approach to a past challenge using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). It's a great way to show how you tackle complex issues and come up with effective solutions.

Know the Business Impact of IT Solutions

When discussing your experiences, focus not just on the tech solutions you implemented, but also on their business impact. Employers want to see that you can connect IT with organisational goals. Prep examples that highlight how your tech contributions improved efficiency or reduced costs for past clients or projects.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

Since IT consulting often involves teamwork and client interactions, expect behavioural questions that assess your interpersonal skills. Be prepared with examples that demonstrate your adaptability, communication skills, and how you handle client feedback. Before the interview, think of situations where you worked closely with clients to create effective IT strategies or changes.
