Business Systems Support & Data Analyst Saa S, CRM, Power BI, hybrid Bristol
Hybrid working in Bristol, three days a week in the office if local.
This is a business systems support role with data, reporting, and insights built in.
It is not a pure Business Analyst role. It is not a pure Data Analyst role. It is not a big data or data-crunching job.
You will support and improve the systems that a growing professional services business runs on, help colleagues use those systems effectively, and turn the data within them into clear, useful reporting.
Why This Opportunity
Our client is a small, technology-led professional services business with modern systems already in place.
They now need one clear owner for business applications, Saa S platforms, CRM administration, data quality, reporting, and practical improvement.
There is real opportunity here.
You will be able to lead on systems, data quality, reporting, automation, and better ways of working.
But you also need to be happy doing the hands-on parts: users, permissions, configuration, documentation, system queries, and supplier coordination.
There is an external managed IT provider to lean on for specialist technical delivery. You will be the informed internal owner who keeps things moving.
Could This Be You
You might be a Business Systems Support Analyst, Applications Analyst, Systems Analyst, CRM Administrator, Operations Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator, or Reporting Analyst with strong systems experience.
You will probably enjoy a hybrid role. Part systems support, part applications admin, part data quality, part reporting, part process improvement.
This will not suit someone who only wants requirements workshops, stakeholder mapping, or dashboard work.
It will suit someone who enjoys being useful, getting close to the business, and solving practical problems for people.
What You ll Bring
Essential
- Experience supporting business systems, applications, Saa S platforms, CRM, or operational systems.
- Hands-on administration of users, permissions, configuration, and access.
- Comfortable supporting colleagues with system queries and practical problem-solving.
- Reporting or dashboard experience, ideally with Power BI or a similar tool.
- Confidence working with business data, including incomplete or inconsistent data.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to explain systems, data, and processes clearly.
- Proactive and communicative, with confidence sharing reports, ideas, and recommendations.
- Able to gather practical requirements and turn them into adopted improvements.
- Process documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and business data.
- Existing right to work in the UK.
Useful
- CRM administration.
- Power Automate, Zapier, Make or n8n.
- AI tools, APIs, agents, or workflow automation.
- Managing an outsourced IT provider.
- Systems implementation, integration, or data migration.
- What You ll Be Doing
- Support and administer core business systems and applications.
- Manage users, permissions, access, and configuration.
- Help colleagues use systems properly and confidently.
- Improve data quality across key platforms.
- Maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Turn business data into clear, useful insight.
- Present reports, findings, and recommendations to colleagues.
- Identify manual processes that can be improved or automated.
- Coordinate systems work with an external managed IT provider.
- Create clear documentation and user guidance.
- Help assess, configure, and roll out new software.
- Why You ll Enjoy It Here
You will have ownership of a defined systems and data environment in a small professional services business where your work will be seen.
You will not be one small part of a large IT, data, or change team. You will be the person people come to for systems, reporting, data quality, and practical improvement.
This role suits someone ambitious, but not precious.
You may be leading ideas in one meeting, then helping with access, configuration, or a system query the next.
That balance is the job.
Salary and Benefits
£50,000 to £55,000.
Bristol.
