We are hiring a Senior Product Quality Lead to ensure Xirgo’s products are genuinely ready for customers before launch. This is not a traditional QA or compliance role. You’ll focus on system‑level quality how devices, connectivity, cloud platforms, APIs, and customer integrations behave together in real‑world conditions particularly during Alpha, Beta, and early Commercial phases.
Location Requirement
This role requires the successful candidate to work from the Belfast office. Hybrid working will be available where work requirements allow. Remote or fully remote arrangements are not available for this position.
Right to Work
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
What you’ll do
- Own system‑level test intent and release readiness for new products and major platform changes.
- Define and drive Alpha and Beta testing strategies across device, network, cloud, and integration layers.
- Support and enable cross‑functional testing by defining scenarios, success criteria, and system‑level acceptance (without owning test execution).
- Partner with Program Management to define release gates, readiness criteria, and go / no‑go decisions.
- Aggregate results, identify patterns, and surface technical risks early with clear impacts and options.
- Capture and reuse system‑level test learnings, helping mature this new capability across Xirgo’s product portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working on complex, connected systems (IoT, telematics, or distributed platforms).
- Strong background in system integration, validation, or pre‑launch product quality.
- Ability to understand and challenge system behaviour, technical assumptions, and integration risk.
- Comfortable operating in engineering‑led environments, contributing technical credibility without owning implementation.
- Proven ability to influence and align globally distributed, cross‑functional teams, including customer‑facing groups.
- Strong judgment and communication skills — able to translate technical detail into clear, decision‑ready input.
- Senior individual‑contributor mindset authority through expertise, not line management.
This is a high‑impact role with real ownership and strong partnership with the global cross‑functional team on release readiness.
