This is a regular, remote full-time position based in the UK. The Image Analyst ensures the quality and accuracy of imaging data in clinical trials. Their responsibilities span site management and communication, resolving imaging data queries, performing rigorous image quality control and analysis, and managing data, including transfers. By adhering to protocols and regulatory standards, they help ensure the successful execution of clinical studies. The Image Analyst possesses a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities expected of an Image Analyst, gained through a combination of formal education, experience, or relevant prior professional experience.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Clinical Trial Site Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to site personnel on imaging procedures, protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Query Management: Address and resolve queries from clinical imaging sites and study teams regarding imaging data.
  • Image Review: Conduct thorough quality control checks on incoming images to ensure they meet the required technical and clinical standards.
  • Compliance Verification: Ensure images comply with study-specific protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Image Analysis: Perform image processing and analysis according to study protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Analysis Procedure Development: Support the development of image analysis pipelines and analysis methods.
  • Data Handling: Manage the secure transfer, storage, and organization of imaging data in compliance with data management protocols and security standards.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and security of imaging data, adhering to regulatory and study-specific requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science related field or engineering.
  • Experience with medical imaging data. Prior experience with SPECT, PET and MRI, an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the use of software tools, experience with image analysis and data management tools an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary team settings.
  • Proven problem-solving, critical decision making and professional judgement.
  • Embodies ethics and integrity in all work, respecting both company and broader community policies in all conduct.
  • Strong commitment to the team; maintains positive working relationships with diverse people, including internal team and external partners.
