Infrastructure Engineer Location: Leatherhead, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full Time CGI is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support cutting‑edge 5G/SatCom projects. This hybrid role is based in Leatherhead with occasional travel to Didcot, Oxfordshire. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain build and design documents. Implement infrastructure solutions across multiple projects. Test and validate solutions to ensure reliability. Research new COTS solutions and apply them to improve deployment. Essential Qualifications Experience building, setting up, and deploying VM environments (VMware or Hyper‑V). Linux administration: build, configure, and maintain systems. Automation and scripting: Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools. Strong networking fundamentals and basic network design. Desirable Qualifications Designing bespoke infrastructure solutions for complex environments. Background in 5G telecommunications or satellite communications.
