Description

About us

Xiatech is the pioneer of Xfuze, the world’s first AI-powered composable Integration, Data Management, Analytics and Orchestration Platform that innovatively connects systems, creates a single view of data, and delivers actionable insights in one cloud-native, Saa S solution.

Business, technology, and data teams use Xfuze to shorten time-to-insights, accelerate digital transformation, and extend the value of their existing technology investments.

We’re a culture-first organisation and put our people at the forefront of everything we do.

We believe that a great working environment leads to a happy, high-performing team, which is why we offer our people the flexibility to work remotely or from our beautiful office in Fitzrovia, Central London.

The Role

We are seeking a capable, client-focused Senior Consultant to support the delivery lifecycle for our enterprise accounts — from discovery and scoping, through delivery governance, to ongoing adoption.

The role is part delivery owner, part client-facing advisor, working closely with Principal Consultants and Client Partners on the account.

You will run discovery and scoping for mid-sized engagements and well-defined workstreams within larger accounts, govern day-to-day delivery through our MATCH framework (Mobilisation, Architecture, Technical Spec, Construct, Handover) to protect quality and margin, and support the wider account team in driving retention and adoption.

You will translate between client requirements and what the Xfuze platform and delivery team can realistically deliver, escalating to a Principal Consultant or Client Partner where an engagement carries elevated commercial, technical, or relationship risk.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationships & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client SMEs, project leads, and functional stakeholders, acting as a day-to-day trusted point of contact on the engagement.
  • Support Principal Consultants and Client Partners in executive and steering committee sessions, and independently lead stakeholder working sessions at SME and project-lead level.
  • Apply an ‘Adopt, Don’t Adapt’ mindset: question client requests for bespoke work and ask clients to evidence the underlying business problem, escalating where a client pushes back at senior level.
  • Proactively flag risks, trade-offs, and alternatives to the account lead as they emerge, rather than waiting for them to surface in governance forums.
  • Represent Xiatech’s expertise and values professionally and consistently with client SMEs through to project sponsors.
  • Discovery, Scoping & Roadmap

Lead discovery and scoping for defined workstreams and mid-sized engagements, working with client SMEs to capture requirements and draft success criteria for sign-off by the Principal Consultant or Client Partner.

  • Support mini-scoping sessions as engagements expand, and contribute roadmap and scope trade-off options for review with client SMEs.
  • Analyse and document client business processes, data entities, and workflows; maintain a prioritised backlog with clear Epics and User Stories.
  • Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for your workstreams and support the Principal Consultant in locking fixed scope at Mobilisation Delivery Governance (MATCH Framework)
  • Provide day-to-day governance across the five MATCH phases — Mobilisation, Architecture, Technical Spec, Construct, and Handover — keeping delivery on track between client, delivery team, and Service Desk at each gate.
  • Work with Architects to check that client problems map to standard platform features, flagging any technical spec that defaults to custom code before platform-native options are exhausted.
  • Coordinate client sign-off on deliverables and confirm the Service Desk has formally accepted each release into live support before workstream closure Commercial & Scope Management
  • Track spend against the expert services budget for your workstreams, flagging overrun risk early to the Principal Consultant or Client Partner.
  • Draft Change Requests with a commercial impact assessment for scope changes, for review and sign-off before development begins.
  • Monitor for signs of delivery margin erosion from unplanned work or scope drift and raise these promptly.
  • Report workstream health transparently, flagging risks and issues early rather than waiting for them to surface.
  • Contribute estimates and input to the pricing and scoping of new engagements when requested.
  • Retention & Adoption Support
  • Support account growth and retention activity by delivering a consistently high-quality workstream experience that reinforces client confidence.
  • Contribute to client health tracking by surfacing delivery and engagement signals to the Principal Consultant or Client Partner.
  • Help identify upsell and expansion signals during day-to-day delivery work and pass these to the account lead.
  • Apply and help refine onboarding and adoption playbooks that guide client teams through integration, change management, and time-to-value.
  • Collaboration & Development
  • Provide day-to-day support and quality review for junior consultants and analysts on the engagement.
  • Seek guidance from Principal Consultants and Client Partners on complex escalations, and act as a reliable escalation point for junior team members on operational matters.
  • Contribute feedback on consulting methodology, reusable frameworks, and best practice across the organisation.
  • Feed client input and delivery learnings back to the account lead for onward sharing with Product, Sales, and Delivery leadership.
  • Your Knowledge & Experience
    Essential
  • Experience working across retail, travel, hospitality, or CPG sectors.
  • A track record of building credible working relationships with client SMEs and project leads, with the confidence to raise concerns using evidence rather than deferring by default.
  • Experience supporting or leading discovery, scoping, and requirements definition on technology transformation programmes.
  • Commercial awareness: able to read a Statement of Work, recognise scope creep, and flag it for a Change Request conversation before issues escalate.
  • Good working knowledge of analysing platform usage data, customer feedback, and delivery metrics to inform delivery decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable in a client working session and in a Slack thread with engineers.

Desirable

  • Experience in the retail, travel, hospitality, or CPG sectors, or with retail / digital transformation programmes (ERP, EPOS, CDP, or BI/dashboard implementations).
  • Background in a company that transitioned from bespoke development to product/platform-led delivery.
  • Familiarity with requirements traceability (RTM) and fixed-scope contracting models.
  • Exposure to data integration, middleware, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience supporting or informally mentoring junior delivery or Customer Success colleagues.
  • 3+ years in enterprise Saa S, cloud platform, or complex technical integration / data-BI delivery, including some experience in a client-facing consulting or implementation role.
  • Your Personality
  • Energetic & driven
  • Innovative
  • Resilient
  • Insightful
  • Creative
  • Problem solver
  • Sound judgement
  • Analytical
  • Capacity to learn
