About us

Xiatech is the pioneer of Xfuze, the world’s first AI-powered composable Integration, Data Management, Analytics and Orchestration Platform that innovatively connects systems, creates a single view of data and delivers actionable insights in one cloud-native, Saa S solution.

Business, technology and data teams use Xfuze to shorten time-to-insights, accelerate digital transformation, and extend the value of their legacy technology investments.

We’re a culture-first organisation and put our people at the forefront of everything we do.

We believe that a great working environment leads to a happy and productive team which is why we offer our staff the flexibility to work remotely or from our beautiful office in Fitzrovia, Central London.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Principal Delivery Lead who can join our growing team at Xiatech and help us on our delivery journey.

The Principal Delivery Lead owns delivery of a major, multi-market client strategic initiative - currently a 52-market global template rollout - orchestrating the master rollout plan across squads, technical leadership, and the client relationship at a senior level.

The Principal Delivery Lead should be able to deliver in a ‘hybrid’ manner especially when engaging with new customers and run more fully Agile as the relationship develops into a tighter partnership over time.

Internally the teams always run Agile and we are committed to constantly improve our Agile ways of working.

We also recognise that we need to work with the customer against milestones and budgets and therefore be able to front load some elements of requirement gathering, design and maintain solid forecasts along the way.

This is a balance and the Principal Delivery Lead will use their experience to take the best approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking for a role that will have a genuine impact from day one in a rapidly expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery mindset
  • To work in partnership with our Product Owners, with your teams and business stakeholders to deliver working software to our clients in a collaborative way in that meets the teams Definition of Done
  • Create, own and maintain delivery plans, highlighting forecasts/estimates with both the client and internally.

You’ll also be working closely with the Product Owner to plan those deliverables and help teams monitor performance to meet key milestones and ensure your clients get the best possible outcomes

  • Plan deliverables/releases and help teams monitor their own performance using a variety of metrics and visualisations (such as sprint and release burndowns) to support continuous improvements and delivery
  • Drive delivery and be willing to dip into your toolkit to support getting the job done for your team/client.

Think outside the box and be prepared to challenge and have difficult conversations when needed.

  • Instil a delivery-centric mindset, driving teams to collaborate in an agile and efficient manner, striving to expedite project timelines without compromising quality.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of complex solutions, products and services using hybrid/agile practices.
  • Proactive and collaborative
  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments that occur within your teams and the wider business as necessary to support continuous delivery and a positive working environment
  • Proactively and practically obtain commitments from your teams and key stakeholders in alignment with the Product Owners.

Many of your clients will have key timeframes they are working towards, so it is important for you and your team to know if these are achievable.

  • Work with Product Owners to ensure that teams have well defined items, including acceptance criteria and non functional requirements that meets the Definition of Ready.

Also to create a healthy prioritised backlog and roadmap.

  • Own and drive the delivery with your team, be there with them, hands on, to support a successful delivery
  • Methodology, metrics and team
  • To lead and facilitate all agile events, planning and delivery management best practices.

To include teaching those best practices to teams to support and drive delivery to our customers

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for governance and reporting to the client’s senior stakeholders, holding a firm, professional line on scope and budget as the engagement evolves.
  • Help support with team health and creating a culture of team ownership and psychological safety
  • Champion an Agile/lean mindset and help team(s) identify improvements and drive continuous development across the teams and the Delivery team to support our customers getting the best possible outcomes
  • Work with the wider Delivery Team to embed best practices across clients and the business
  • Understand the agile mindset and know how and when to apply it to different situations and also have an understanding that this takes time to achieve
  • Provide oversight across leads in multiple market squads, ensuring consistency against the global template while they manage day-to-day sprint delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement of the delivery process.
  • Communication and client focus
  • Own the client relationship at Steerco level — running senior stakeholder conversations, defending budget and scope, and holding a firm, professional line in a demanding, fast-moving client landscape.
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be a point of contact for external communications with the Product Owner

(e. g. from customers or stakeholders) regarding timeframes, status, plans and strategic requirements.

  • Create and foster a collaborative culture of transparency & trust, acting as a true-leader to your teams
  • Your Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Excellent knowledge and experience working in a hybrid or agile environment as a Scrum Master/Delivery Lead preferably using different frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • 7+ years of project/programme management experience, with evidence of leading multi-country/multi-region template or platform rollouts, ideally including building a core blueprint and rolling it out sequentially across markets.
  • Experience with managing complex, high-risk projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing demanding, politically complex client stakeholders and defending scope/budget under pressure — comfortable pushing back firmly and professionally.
  • Excellent knowledge of agile metrics and how to use these to support teams with their growth and maturity
  • Understanding and experience of different delivery approaches and different phases of the Software Delivery Lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both team members and senior and C-suite level stakeholders
  • Experience using Jira or Azure Dev Ops

Desirable

  • Experience of exploring and implementing broader organisational change would be beneficial but not essential

  • Your Personality
  • Energetic & Driven
  • Innovative

How to prepare for a job interview at Xiatech

✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Xiatech uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

✨Showcase Your Projects

Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
