Role: Commercial and Pricing Analyst Student Responsibilities
- Data preparation and organisation
- Prepare and organise pricing and deal data for analysis
- Analyse Supplies price requests on submission volumes, renewals, rejection rate, approval times
- Analysis of last 12 months of submitted business cases
- Analyse pricing business cases submitted in the last 12 months
- Calculate win rates by segment, region, and pricing level
- Identify key trends, patterns, and common success or failure drivers
- Win-rate tracking and performance analysis
- Track outcomes (win / loss / pending) of pricing-supported cases
- Support simple win-rate reporting
- Identify improvement opportunities for future pricing cases
- Pricing recommendations support
- Prepare draft pricing adjustment scenarios using predefined rules
- Document rationale from previous winning cases
- Support return of analysed business cases to the sales team
- Competitive and offering insights
- Support comparison of winning internal configurations vs competitor proposals
- Identify recurring winning configurations or pricing structures
- Creation of pricing reference materials
- Help build a simple library of past pricing cases
