As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing and developing Xero's commercial relationships with accountants and bookkeepers within your territory. By helping these partners create and execute a strategy to digitise their practice, you will drive positive outcomes for their business while contributing to Xero's revenue and subscription growth.
You will work as part of a coordinated team that values transparency and diverse perspectives to create a positive impact. The team collaborates closely with technical experts to present end-to-end accounting workflow solutions and nurtures a community through peer-to-peer networking events.
Initially, you will focus on:
- Categorising and prioritising all new accounting and bookkeeping partners within your defined territory.
- Generating a pipeline of qualified opportunities through quarterly planning and proactive outbound activity.
- Using Salesforce to maintain accurate account hygiene and track key touchpoints.
- Driving the development of online and cloud strategies for both existing and new partners.
This is a hybrid role; 3 days of the week in our Manchester office.
Here are some of the things we are looking for, for this role:
- Experience in sales, in a fast paced technology or SaaS company.
- Experience building rapport and selling to partners.
- Market knowledge in current Practice and SME software competitor platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and systems is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for building new relationships with Accounting firms.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously with a solutions driven mindset.
