The role & impact

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing and developing Xero's commercial relationship with accountants and bookkeepers within your dedicated territory. By working with partners to create and execute strategies that digitise their practices, you will drive positive outcomes for their businesses while contributing to the overall growth of our small business customer base. Your work makes a tangible impact by helping small businesses become more efficient and connecting them with powerful technology. By empowering the community behind these businesses, you play a vital role in building a stronger economy.

The team & how they connect

You will join a collaborative sales team focused on the recruit, educate, and grow model to support our accounting partners. The team works closely with technical specialists to present end-to-end workflow solutions and partners with the wider business to facilitate peer‑to‑peer networking events. The team is currently working on:

  • Recruiting and landing new accounting partners to expand the Xero channel.
  • Developing and driving cloud strategies within your allocated territory to help partners transition to online systems.
  • Generating a pipeline of qualified opportunities through quarterly planning and proactive outbound engagement.
  • Maintaining high‑level account hygiene and activity tracking within Salesforce.
