New Groundworks Foreman position in Maidstone, Kent. Have you just finished an assignment and looking for your next role? * Position: Groundworks Foreman * Start date: January 2025 * Contract type: Freelance * Location: Maidstone, Kent * Pay rate: £200 – £240/day * Duration: 6 months * Xenon Recruitment contact: Matt Jasper The company: An industry leading Groundworks sub contractor who operate across the Southern Home Counties. The project: A new traditional build development of 6x detached homes (4-5 bedroom). The role: Reporting into a visiting Company Director you will be responsible for managing this residential scheme from site setup through to completion. Your role will involve but not be limited to: * Management of the master build programme * Weekly progress meetings with the Main Contractor site team * Progress reporting to a visiting Company Director on a weekly basis * Overseeing Health & Safety on site * Maintain a site diary on a daily basis * Quality assurance ensuring all work is completed to the required standard * Management and supervision of the Groundworks team on site * Managing / ordering materials About you: * You will have gained circa 5+ years experience, ideally working for a Groundworks sub contractor * Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position (CSCS/CPCS Card, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work) * Experience working on a similar scheme would be preferable, but not essential * Experience of controlling direct labour * Strong organisational and time management skills
