THE JOB
We’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional for a Finance Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions job. As our operations continue to expand, this newly created role will play a key part in shaping the financial future of the business through detailed analysis, forecasting, and strategic input on M&A activity. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Commercial Manager, this is a hands-on and strategic role that will give you exposure to a wide range of financial disciplines. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the Group’s growth ambitions through financial due diligence, business analysis, and long-term planning.
Your duties will include:
- Lead financial analysis on potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities
- Review and consolidate multiple company balance sheets across the group
- Develop and maintain long-term financial forecasts and scenario planning
- Partner with senior leadership to analyse business performance and identify value drivers
- Support fund management and capital allocation strategy
- Provide detailed analysis on share capital structures and implications
- Deliver financial due diligence and risk assessments for strategic projects
- Act as a business partner to both the operations and commercial teams
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in Mergers & Acquisitions or Corporate Finance
- Strong understanding of group structures, intercompany reporting, and consolidation
- Experience managing or reviewing multiple balance sheets and cash flows
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator and business partner with senior stakeholders
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
