Are you a Compliance professional with experience in the construction sector, looking to join a reputable contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects? We are recruiting for a Compliance Manager position for a well-established construction and refurbishment contractor who deliver a wide range of commercial, residential, heritage, and specialist refurbishment projects across London and the South East. With a long-standing presence in the industry, they are known for high standards, repeat business, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
The Role
As the Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening and overseeing the business's compliance framework. You'll support both office and project teams to ensure operations align with legislation, accreditations, and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance company compliance systems, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
- Conduct internal audits across projects and the business, ensuring best practice is maintained
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies, training, and quality processes
- Support project teams with H&S, quality, and environmental compliance documentation
- Maintain company accreditations (e.g., CHAS, Constructionline, ISO) and membership standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation
- Manage supply chain pre-qualification and compliance assurance
About You
- Experience within a main contractor or construction environment
- Strong understanding of compliance, quality and H&S systems
- Confident in auditing, documentation management and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of ISO management systems and EDMS platforms
- Clear communicator with the ability to influence and engage teams
