Trade Credit Development Executive

Location: Manchester / North

Salary: £Negotiable + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

As a business Xenia have grown consistently over the last few years, which has been driven by their client led approach whilst providing truly local service to them.

With offices across the country and the team going from strength to strength, we are looking to add a Development Executive to the Northern team. You’ll be leading the charge on talking to prospects and engaging with them from the first call through to securing their coverage before handing off to the client service team.

You’ll be fully supported by our dedicated and highly experienced Client servicing team to ensure you can focus on what you do best, winning clients.

On a day to day basis you’ll be:

  • Developing a personal pipeline of new business and adding new introducers to your network
  • Internal networking, developing contacts and leads within the Brown and Brown general insurance businesses
  • Actively following up on leads provided by the marketing team and generating personal ones
  • Advising clients on New Business Quotations
  • Liaising with the broking and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate
  • Actively negotiating with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms
  • Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
  • Ensuring income targets are achieved and maintained.
  • Working with the management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues

Your experience:

  • Ideally you’ll have a solid grounding across Trade Credit & Surety Markets and be looking to join a business where you can excel and develop over the long term.
  • We’re also happy to consider a background in Invoice Finance Sales.
  • Your skill set will include high level communication (Verbal, Written Video), negotiation, influencing, sales, stakeholder management, delegation and IT skills with a client first mindset
  • You’ll be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels particularly board level.
  • A full driving licence
