As we prepare to open our new nursery, we are building a passionate and dedicated team who share our vision of creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for babies and young children. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and service, while building positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.

The role involves seeking proactive, caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals who take pride in their work, contribute positively to the team, and share our commitment to helping every child reach their full potential, for the following roles:

  • Nursery Educator
  • Baby Room Leader
  • Toddler Room Leader
  • Preschool Room Leader
  • Nursery Manager
  • Chef FT/PT

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.
  • Deliver high-quality care, learning and play experiences in line with the EYFS.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, promoting children's wellbeing and development.
  • Observe, assess and monitor children's progress, planning next steps to support individual learning and development.
  • Support children's communication, independence, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour through consistent, responsive interactions.
  • Act as a Key Person, maintaining accurate records and working in partnership with parents and carers.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging, inclusive and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming learning environment, supporting daily routines and care needs.
  • Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team to create a positive culture and deliver outstanding experiences for children and families.

Additional Responsibilities (Room Leaders)

  • Lead and support the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring high standards of practice are consistently maintained.
  • Model excellent teaching, interactions and behaviour management, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Support reflective practice, mentoring and the professional development of team members.
  • Monitor room practice, children's progress and learning environments to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a strong culture of safeguarding, inclusion and compliance, helping to maintain Ofsted readiness at all times.

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
