This internship enables you to work closely with the founders of an energy start-up launching an energy solution powered by proprietary technology, underpinned by diverse streams of science and engineering. The Internship entails research, stakeholder management, content writing, and social media engagements.

You are a Founders Associate, versatile in nature, and support the ongoing focus areas of the business. Expect a dynamic nature to what you do, and more than the hours you've spent, it is the quality that will matter. The intern should expect to perform tasks related to due diligence, project management, analysis, collaborative strategy sessions, and administrative duties. For the stage of the business, you will have hands-on experience on all matters related to fundraising.

You are not doing what Founders are supposed to do, instead supporting what Founders do on a daily basis. Your involvement will be around three areas, viz., fundraising, team building and planning.

Key areas of skillset development:
  • Hands-on experience of the Investment world
  • Relationship management
  • Project Management and Organisational Skills
  • Data Analysis and Research
  • Teamwork, Collaboration
  • Communication skills
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills

Treat this as a remote internship; that said, if you are in the same location as the Founders (NY/London) during the internship, you are more than welcome to tag along and work alongside the Founders. Founders offers flexibility whilst interning, but the internship should be the main focus. Hence, this is particularly a good one for a University student who requires hands-on experience prior to pursuing a career in Energy, Climate, Sustainability or even venture capital firms.

Important: You will need to provide your identification document and two references within the first two weeks of joining. You are also required to sign an NDA prior to joining.
