About The Role
We\’re looking for a VP of People and Operations to help lead and scale our People, Operations, Finance and Legal functions. You\’ll work closely with leadership to ensure these areas run smoothly and scale in line with business need. You\’ll also help team leaders grow their departments and transition our finance and legal functions from outsourced to in-house.
What You’ll Be Doing:
People & Culture
- Help shape hiring and retention strategies to attract top talent.
- Work with the People team to safeguard and evolve our culture.
- Oversee efforts to make our workplace authentic, diverse and inclusive.
- Help Develop learning programs that support employee and leadership growth.
Operations & Business Efficiency
- Guide and mentor People and Operations leaders to help them have maximum impact in their roles.
- Oversee company operations and scale processes across the business.
- Track key company OKRs and ensure business processes are delivering against company goals.
- Choose and roll out the right tools to support company operations as we grow.
- Support international expansion, ensuring smooth operations in the UK, US and beyond.
Finance & Legal (Future Responsibilities)
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with the goal of bringing finance in-house.
- Ensure legal compliance and manage risks while transitioning legal functions from external to internal teams.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong level of experience in senior HR/People and/or Operations roles, ideally in a fast-growing tech or SaaS company.
- Experience mentoring and empowering team leads.
- Strong strategic thinking—aligning people, operations, and finance with business goals.
- Passion for building and overseeing a high-performing workplace.
- Clear, concise communication and the ability to have immediate impact.
- Ability to execute at rapid pace whilst wearing lots of hats.
