About us

At Xelix, we work with some of the world’s largest companies to automate and strengthen their financial controls. Our AI solutions redefine how Accounts Payable teams operate – moving from manual processes to automated, intelligent workflows. Xelix is a fast-paced scale‑up – things move fast and expectations are high. We raised our Series B with Insight Partners in June 2025 and are expanding aggressively. We have a team of 150 talented people pulling together to achieve our goals. Everyone is trusted to take ownership, move fast and have a meaningful impact. If you’re excited about building something special with us, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role acting as a dedicated resourcer within the Talent team. You’ll primarily support the top of the funnel – managing applications, sourcing candidates, conducting screening calls, and ensuring our ATS and recruitment processes run smoothly and efficiently. Alongside core resourcing responsibilities, you’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in a range of project work, including employer branding initiatives and continuous improvement of recruitment processes. This is a great chance to contribute to broader Talent team priorities and help shape how we attract and engage candidates. You’ll work closely with the Talent Partner to help keep hiring organised, proactive and candidate‑focused. There is potential for this role to convert to a permanent position, depending on business needs and performance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Sourcing & Headhunting
    • Proactively source and headhunt candidates across a variety of roles using LinkedIn, events, forums and other channels.
    • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
    • Engage candidates with thoughtful, personalised outreach that reflects the Xelix brand.
  • Application & Candidate Management
    • Review and triage inbound applications across multiple roles.
    • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability and motivation.
    • Provide structured summaries and recommendations to the Talent Partner.
    • Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout early‑stage processes.
  • ATS & Process Management
    • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance across the recruitment process.
    • Track candidate progress and ensure stages, notes and feedback are logged correctly.
    • Support interview scheduling and coordination where required.
    • Produce basic hiring reports and pipeline updates.
  • Process & Delivery Support
    • Help ensure a consistent and efficient recruitment process.
    • Support improvements to sourcing strategies and top‑of‑funnel conversion.
    • Contribute to delivering a positive and professional candidate experience.
    • Provide ad hoc support to the wider People team depending on team priorities and capacity.

What you’ll bring

  • 6+ months experience working in recruitment, talent acquisition, or resourcing (agency or in‑house).
  • Experience sourcing and headhunting candidates using LinkedIn or similar tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles at once.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on process and candidate experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving scale‑up with evolving priorities.
  • Curious, proactive, and keen to develop a career in talent acquisition.

What we offer in return

  • Competitive salary of ÂŁ30,000‑£36,000 depending on experience.
  • 27 days of annual leave (including 3 days Christmas closing) which increases up to 3 days based on tenure, with the option to roll over, buy or sell up to 3 days.
  • Hybrid working two days per week from our dog‑friendly Hoxton office.
  • On‑site gym and cycle to work scheme.
  • Employee discount at over 100 retailers.
  • Comprehensive private medical & dental cover with Vitality.
  • Enhanced parental leave pay.
  • Learning & development culture – ÂŁ1,000 personal annual budget.
  • We’re carbon‑neutral and are working towards ambitious carbon reduction goals.
  • Lots of team socials & activities.
  • Annual team retreat.

Interview Process

  • Introductory Call – A short Teams conversation with a Talent Partner to discuss your background and the opportunity.
  • Hiring Manager Interview – A 30–45 minute Teams meeting to explore your experience and fit for the team.
  • Technical Task or Presentation – A role‑relevant exercise to demonstrate your skills and approach.
  • Final On‑site Interview – An in‑person meeting with our senior leadership team and co‑founders at our office.

We strive to make the process clear, efficient, and respectful of your time. We believe that people from diverse backgrounds, with different identities and experiences make our company and product better. No matter your background, we’d love to hear from you! And if you have a disability, please let us know if there’s any way we can make the interview process better for you - we’re happy to accommodate!
