About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Solution Consulting to lead and scale our global pre‑sales/solution consulting function at a very fast-growing scale‑up. You will manage our Solution Consulting team across the US and UK, and act as the critical bridge between Sales and our Product, Services and Technical teams. This role requires a balance of people leadership, technical depth, sales acumen and strategic thinking, and will sit as part of our Sales and Commercial leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Solution Consultants globally, across the US and UK.
  • Partner with Sales leaders across New Business, Expansion and Partnerships to drive revenue through effective technical pre‑sales support.
  • Act as the bridge between Sales and Product/Technical teams, running a two‑way feedback loop – enabling Sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need, and channelling customer and market insight back to Product to shape the roadmap.
  • Own and evolve the Solution Consulting playbook, keeping the function ahead of the curve on tools, processes and techniques.
  • Get personally involved in strategic deals and key customer engagements, providing senior technical and commercial input where it matters most.
  • Sit on the Sales and Commercial leadership team, contributing to broader go‑to‑market strategy and decision‑making.
  • Work closely with Services and Technical teams to ensure a smooth handover from pre‑sales to delivery, and that customer requirements are well understood and met.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of market trends, competitor products and industry developments, and ensure this is reflected in the team’s approach.
  • Provide training and support to other functions within the commercial team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, serving as a senior technical advisor.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 3‑5 years' experience managing a pre‑sales /Solution Consulting team.
  • A SaaS background is essential.
  • Experience working for companies that sell software to the office of the CFO is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead a high‑performing team across multiple geographies.
  • Strong track record of partnering with Sales leadership to drive revenue in enterprise or high‑growth software environments.
  • Proven ability to understand complex technical products and solutions, and to translate these into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience operating at leadership level across Sales, Product and Technical functions.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
  • Comfortable getting hands‑on in strategic deals and complex customer engagements.

What we offer in return

  • Competitive salary depending on experience.
  • 27 days of annual leave (including 3 days Christmas closing), with the option to roll over 3 days.
  • Hybrid working with 3 days a week from our dog‑friendly Hoxton office and on‑site gym.
  • Comprehensive private medical & dental cover with Vitality.
  • Enhanced parental leave pay.
  • Learning & development culture – £1,000 personal annual budget.
  • We’re carbon‑neutral and are working towards ambitious carbon reduction goals.
  • Lots of team socials & activities.
  • Annual team retreat.

We believe that people from diverse backgrounds, with different identities and experiences make our company and product better. No matter your background, we'd love to hear from you! And if you have a disability, please let us know if there's any way we can make the interview process better for you - we're happy to accommodate!

This is a full‑time position, with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Interview Process

While the exact process may vary slightly depending on the role, our typical interview stages are:

  • Introductory Call – A short Teams conversation with a Talent Partner to discuss your background and the opportunity.
  • Hiring Manager Interview – A 30–45 minute Teams meeting to explore your experience and fit for the team.
  • Technical Task or Presentation – A role‑relevant exercise to demonstrate your skills and approach.
  • Final On‑site Interview – An in‑person meeting with our senior leadership team and co‑founders at our office.

We strive to make the process clear, efficient, and respectful of your time. We welcome the responsible use of AI for research and interview preparation, but ask that it isn't used to generate answers during live interviews. We also believe in being transparent - we use Metaview's AI note‑taker during interviews so our interviewers can stay fully present. If you'd prefer us not to use it, just let your interviewer know. While you may need to answer eligibility questions as part of your application, we do not use AI to review or make decisions on applications - every application is reviewed fairly by a member of our Talent team.
