As an ACA Apprentice at Xeinadin, you will embark on an exciting journey to gain hands-on experience while working towards an industry-recognised qualification in accountancy. This role provides exposure to key aspects of accountancy, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, year-end accounts, tax filings, and payroll management. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learning on the job, and developing your skills in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Working within our audit department to provide accounting and audit services.
• Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing with external clients, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence.
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
• Participate in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client.
• Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.
• Preparing corporation tax returns.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Preparing management accounts.
• Attending client premises.

Key Requirements

• Applicants must hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree and have achieved at least three grade Bs at A Level.
• While graduates from any discipline are welcome, candidates must be numerate and demonstrate strong motivation to undertake further study and qualify as a Chartered Accountant.

• Experience using Office 365, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the accountancy profession.
• A focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks, particularly in financial records and reports.
• A collaborative team player, able to work effectively with others while building strong client relationships.
