We’re looking for a Client Manager to join our growing Leicester office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working at Semi‑Senior or Accounts Senior level in practice who’s ready to take the next step and manage their own client portfolio. You’ll be responsible for building strong client relationships, managing workflow, reviewing work prepared by the team, and delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting for a range of SME clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of service and advice
- Review accounts and VAT work prepared by the team to ensure quality and compliance
- Provide proactive business advice and solutions to clients
- Develop strong, long‑term relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Ensure work complies with all statutory, ethical, and professional standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency through technology and collaboration
- AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part‑qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an accountancy practice (preparation of year‑end accounts, VAT returns, management accounts)
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive and professional approach
- Comfortable using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
