Our Cardiff office is a market leading top ten practice delivering all of the specialist services required by the SME market. This new position represents a unique opportunity, as one of our founding Partners takes steps to transition their client responsibilities. The successful candidate will also join the organisation at a pivotal time, as three Xeinadin practices merge into a fully refurbished flagship office located in the centre of Bridgend. The chosen candidate will help shape the ways in which the office and its workforce develop, as part of the wider Xeinadin organisational plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Cardiff office alongside fellow directors/partners.
  • Maintain and develop key client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, and management accounts.
  • Provide strategic input on firm direction, service offerings, and growth opportunities.
  • Manage, support, and mentor staff driving core Xeinadin values and culture.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards (HMRC, ICAEW/ACCA).
  • Drive business development activities including networking, client acquisition, and service diversification.
  • Monitor financial performance of the practice and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
  • Contribute to implementing and maintaining systems and processes to support efficient practice operations (e.g., cloud software, workflow tools).

Key Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA desirable but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

This represents an opportunity for a candidate looking to relocate to Wales. The ideal candidate will be coming from a general practice or mid-tier firm in the UK at Senior Manager or Director level, looking for the opportunity to grow into the partnership of an expanding firm.
