We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Audit & Accounts Senior to join our Lancaster office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a varied client portfolio, contribute to a growing team, and take ownership of both audit and accounting projects within a forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Help manage and take a lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion, in line with agreed deadlines and compliance standards.
- Prepare and finalise statutory accounts and tax returns.
- Review and support junior staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries with professionalism and a client-first attitude.
- Organise your workload effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for managerial review.
- Ensure accurate logging of chargeable time and support effective fee recovery.
Key Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or actively working towards qualification). Those ‘qualified by experience’ will also be considered.
- Proven practice experience - Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
