Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Liverpool. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, producing management reports, and supporting clients with accurate, insightful financial information. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and helping our clients thrive.
Responsibilities
- Accurately complete day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with deadlines.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaise with clients in a professional and supportive manner.
- Produce management reports to support clients in understanding their financial position.
- Use software such as Xero and Excel to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Experienced bookkeeper with a strong background in purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, and VAT.
- Qualified (AAT), part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, especially in Excel.
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero is ideal – though full training will be provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
