The Outsourcing Manager is responsible for building strong client relationships and overseeing the delivery of high-quality outsourced accounting and finance services. The role holds direct responsibility for a portfolio of clients and ensures that all work delivered meets the firm’s standards for quality, compliance, and client service. The Outsourcing Manager plays a key leadership role in driving an organisational culture where people are strongly connected to Xeinadin’s vision, mission and values. The role requires an influential leader who can build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and consistently deliver outstanding results for clients and the business.
Key Responsibilities- Review team files to ensure all standards, quality and compliance requirements are met and issues identified.
- Provide industry leading insights, solutions and advice to build the firm’s reputation and client base.
- Manage and grow own portfolio of clients.
- Ensure that all discussions, deadlines, and actions for client are delivered.
- Drive efficiency and profitability in standards and service using best practice through technology.
- Provide day to day support for all clients.
- Create and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with clients, Directors and staff.
- Contribute to strategic and business planning to deliver an increase in revenue and profits.
- Contribute to a high performing culture where people live the vision, mission and values and take action to improve if not.
- Hold responsibility for client relationships up to £180k of revenue to ensure the best possible value, advice and quality and compliance for clients.
- Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team to help motivate and inspire people to higher performance.
- Set performance measures, review performance and take effective action to improve when off track.
- Be a strong role model for the organisations values and standards to develop a high performance culture.
- Develop and maintain the highest standards of technical knowledge and expertise for self and others.
- Develop the team ensuring the voice of the team is heard.
- Complete own portfolio of client work to provide industry leading insights and advice.
- Managing a client portfolio for a diverse range of fast-growing tech startups providing an excellent, proactive service.
- Prepares and reviews statutory annual accounts for filing and returns to company house.
- Prepares monthly management accounts and provides Fractional CFO support to clients.
- VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax management for clients ensuring delivery is excellent for clients.
- Support the sales pipeline commercially to ensure that new opportunities are added within their hub’s portfolio.
- Chair team meetings and manage junior staff members.
- Manages client allocation across the team for newly onboarded clients.
- Supports the onboarding of new clients.
- Be the go-to point of contact for manager level client and internal queries, issues, and bottlenecks together with the monitoring of team deliverables to ensure that we meet our internal SLAs.
- Strong Xero and technical accounting skills is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the capability to work well in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments essential.
- Understanding of revenue recognition for SaaS clients, and understanding VAT for online marketplaces is a plus.
- Experience in working with tech start-ups and venture-backed businesses is a plus.
- ACCA/ACA.
